Black Redstart makes a surprise appearence in in Churchyard at Ossett

A Black Redstart has made a surprise appearence in North Ossett churchyard.The bird spends most of its time in the guttering of the church roof foraging for food.

25 Pink Footed Geese flew up the valley over Millbank Thornhill a 09:15 this morning.There are 9 Goldeneye and 4 Widgeon on the Calder near Earlsheaton as well as 22 Cormorants.

5 Shoveller and 95 Teal are on Dewsbury Sewage Works but very little else.
