Redwings on the move Early Morning.

With misty conditions,Heavy cloud and moderate South Easterly Winds this was an ideal morning for birds arriving from the east.

130 Redwings flew South in the first Hour from 09:00 hours over Kerries Reserve Ossett this morning.Also there was 12 Mistle Thrushes in the Staff Carpark at Kerries Foods this morning.

On the feeders on Kerries Reserve this morning.10 Long Tailed Tits,4 Great Tit,4 Blue Tits,3 Goldfinch,2 Chaffinch,2 Robins 1 Wren,2 Dunnock.

Nearby on Dewsbury Sewage Works 62 Teal,3 Shoveller,18 Mallard,280 Starlings(on wires above the office block.Also on the Sewage Works 26 Snipe and 1 Green Sandpiper.34 Pied Wagtailsand 2 Grey Wagtails where on the central sprinkler beds.

24 Moorhen where on the sewage works this morning and a single Little Grebe was on the River Calder at Earlsheaton.
