02/10/2012 17:11

A swallow was feeding hree newly fledged youngsters on wires at a house in Windsor View  Shaw Cross this morning. This is the second brood they have reared at this house nesting site and comes after what appears to be the main departure of nearly all the local birds after days of increasing numbers on the wires outside with up to 30 birds being present on the same wires up to about two days ago.

Swallows have nested at thishouse for the last 6 years but this is the latest date they have been hanging around.
